Slides
Bring your slide carousels, storage boxes, or shoeboxes. We handle all your slides with white cotton gloves to avoid leaving skin oils on the image and to help remove dust before scanning. We ensure every scan is rotated and cropped for clean edges and reviewed for minor image correction. Click here to view the order and pricing form.
We can scan all sizes of slides to digital format.
If you have organized your slides prior to sending them to us, they will be returned to you in the same order. Your digital images will be organized into folders named according to the file names you provide to us. Each image will be assigned a unique name within that folder that you can change when you review your images at home.
NOTE: If your slides are stored in plastic sleeves, you can choose to deliver them to us in two ways. You can leave them in the sleeves and we will charge you by the hour to remove and replace each one because of the extra time involved. Or, you may choose to take the slides out of the sleeves and bag them in zip-top bags.
We ensure every image is rotated and cropped for clean edges where possible, and enhanced to reflect the original image as closely as possible. Remember that the final digital image is only as clear and clean as the item you wish us to scan.
We also handle full, photo restoration. Give us your damaged, scratched, stained, discolored slides we will restore it to its original state. This intensive process is an additional $40 per image.
Negatives
Film negatives can also be scanned to digital format images.
Film negatives are dark-colored strips, most often comprising three or four images. We digitally scan each image separately, handling them with cotton gloves to avoid leaving skin oils on the image and to help remove dust before scanning. We ensure every scan is rotated and cropped for clean edges and reviewed for minor image correction.
If you have organized your negatives prior to sending them to us, they will be returned to you in the same order.
